killed after small plane crashes into Indiana neighborhood

USPA News - At least two people were killed after a small aircraft crashed at a residential neighborhood in the state of Indiana, local authorities said Sunday. The small Hawker Beachcraft airplane, which took off from Tulsa, Oklahoma, was carrying four people when it crashed in South Bend, Indiana at approximately 4:30 p.m. local time, hitting two homes and damaging a third in a local neighborhood.
Federal Aviation Administration spokesperson Roland Herwig confirmed the deaths of two people on board after the accident, while the two others sustained injuries. A third person on the ground was also reported wounded. Neighboring houses were quickly evacuated as a safety precaution due to gas leaking from the aircraft. The small plane was heading towards the South Bend Regional Airport when it began radioing technical difficulties, but no further details were immediately available.
